Nomination process

This year, eighty-three (83) eligible PMI members answered the Call for Nominations for the PMI Board of Directors. Thank you to each of these members for their interest in serving in this critical role.

The global group of volunteers on the PMI Nominating Committee (NomCom) had the difficult task of narrowing down the list to five (5) candidates. Each of the candidates clearly articulated to the NomCom how their experience, achievements, and skills would contribute to a role on the PMI Board of Directors. In addition to strategic vs. tactical thinking, inclusive leadership, and industry expertise, they emphasized experience in global leadership, strategic planning, and directing a large organization in a dynamic environment.

PMI members are eligible to vote for four (4) candidates to serve on the 2027–2029 PMI Board of Directors.
